China’s Chang’e 6 Moon Delivery
Chang'e 6 Mission: China's Chang'e 6 mission is nearing its return to Earth, bringing the first-ever samples from the far side of the moon, specifically the South Pole-Aitken Basin. Over a 53-day mission, lunar samples were collected on June 1-2, with the return capsule expected to land in Inner Mongolia on June 25, supported by the European Space Agency's ground stations.
Scientific Seminar: Over 200 Chinese scientists recently met in Beijing to discuss the geological background of the Chang'e 6 sample return site. They explored potential scientific research opportunities with the samples, highlighting the mission's significance and the groundbreaking insights it could provide into the moon's history and composition.
