What 2 fundamental theories when combined will become the Theory of Everything?

A) Quantum mechanics and General Relativity

B) Classical Mechanics and the Big Bang

C) Atomic theory and Thermodynamics

Answer

The correct answer is option A. Quantum mechanics are laws that describe small and cold particles while general relativity describes large celestial bodies and is the definition of gravity. Both are two different things that describe opposite features of the universe. But right now in the field of physics, what we need the most is a combined version of both(AKA the Theory of Everything) to truly understand the universe. For example, when discussing the interiors of a black hole, quantum mechanics and general relativity hate each other and propose different views on how the interiors of a black hole might look like but when we have the Theory of Everything, it makes life easier and we can easily deduce what the inside of a black hole looks like. Currently, scientists and mathematicians are working off their Gluteus Maximus to combine both theories. One current prototype is called String Theory and holds a promising future, but has some setbacks to it. One of them is that for String Theory to work, it needs a universe with 10 dimensions! Either we’re not looking hard enough for the other 6 or there’s a glitch in String Theory.
